Mornings
To clear the head and foster the creative oomph, I've been sticking to a morning routine. A little exercise, a little meditation, then, a seat at the dining table with a cup of tea and a pen & paper. I jot down a few things that I'm grateful for and a few things I'd like to really get done for the day. This whole little package takes about an hour. Do I always get the to-do list handled? No. But regardless, my days feel 50% better than they did before the routine was in place. It sets a mood, lessens distractions, and makes it just a little easier to really look (and see) the stuff that inspires.
