And November

This blog has begun to look less like a chronicle of artistic inspiration and more like one of the changing seasons. Whoops. Oh but they do fly by. And the shifting color, light and temperature all impact the work, the mood, the motivation. Hibernation anyone?

So it’s November. After some mild temps, and wild winds, it’s suddenly that particular kind of cold - the in-between realm of not quite fall anymore, not quite winter yet. I was born in this in-between month, and face that extra emphasis on time flying by as the date of birth approaches…

This inspiration hunt is over a year old now. I find myself asking the same questions but have come to understand that those questions - and not their answers - are the most important part of the process. Maybe the only real part.

Thus the hunt continues, with some old ideas...and some new ones...and all the questions, and questioning that goes with them.
